InovaSup Day – Responsible innovation, better supervision
On 15 September, ASF will host InovaSup Day: a reverse pitch dedicated to identifying technological solutions to support supervision (SupTech).
At this event, ASF will present its challenges and invite entrepreneurs, innovators, and the academic community to develop AI-based solutions that address real supervisory needs.
Objectives of the InovaSup Programme / Strengthen ASF’s capacity for a more proactive, predictive, and data-driven supervision / Develop and implement efficient and scalable solutions / Create flexible tools adaptable to different supervisory contexts and needs / Ensure the effective and efficient use of limited resources
CHALLENGES
/ Automate stages in the management of complaints and information requests received via email and the ASF Consumer Website / Automatically classify cases / Verify legal compliance / Draft responses based on predefined templates / Improve operational efficiency and reduce the average response time to consumers
/ Automate the extraction and validation of qualitative and quantitative information from Key Information Documents in PDF format / Implement mechanisms for data structuring, and validation to meet regulatory requirements / Create dashboards and indicators to detect trends, risks, and non-compliance in real time / Optimize the process by reducing analysis time and operation burden and by promoting the use of data
/ Automate the analysis of narrative and quantitative reports to support supervision / Automatically extract, synthesise, and compare information, generating conclusions and key ideas, supported by tables and graphs / Enable interaction via prompts to answer questions and produce customised outputs that take into account the legal and regulatory framework / Reduce current manual, time-consuming, and error-prone process, with limitations in cross-source data integration
/ Analysis of insurance policies and identification of potentially abusive clauses / Analyse in detail extensive clauses / Allow comparison with dispersed legal instruments and jurisprudence / Improve operational efficiency and reduce the average time for legal compliance analysis / Reduce the manual component of the process, which is subject to compliance with legal deadlines for analysis and decision-making
